Wards

The Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness & Research Centre has three wards that provide inpatient care. Wards 6 South and 7 South are cancer wards, specialising in helping patients with tumours and cancers of the blood, bone marrow and lymph nodes. Ward 8 South is a palliative care unit, providing restorative or end of life care.

Patients in our wards benefit from the expertise of a multidisciplinary treatment team of cancer experts who work together to make sure your care plan meets your specific needs. You are also welcome to take part in the Wellness programs that are run in the Wellness Centre, as well as in special therapy rooms and wellness spaces on the wards.

You may also be offered the opportunity to be involved in clinical trails of the latest cancer treatments.

  • 3 four-bed bays
  • 2 double rooms
  • 1 single negative pressure room
  • 4 single lead lined rooms
  • 11 standard single rooms
Ward 7 South Level 7 of the ONJ Centre
  • 3 four-bed bays
  • 2 double rooms
  • 1 single negative pressure room
  • 8 single rooms in a negative pressure zone
  • 7 standard single rooms
Ward 8 South Level 8 of the ONJ Centre
  • 2 double rooms
  • 24 standard single rooms

Please note: although we have 28 beds on this ward, we run a maximum of 21 at any time.
